About the Artist

Hi! My name is Cybil.

I fell in love with painting when I was about 13, when my mom brought home some cardstock, and my Mawmaw gave me extra t-shirt paint. Nearly two decades later, I've moved from cardstock to canvas, and still love trying new things.

Although all of my paintings are abstract, I like to try all kinds of different techniques with different mediums. I've really enjoyed fluid paintings, because they almost never come out the same way twice!

Why the name "Weird Lizard Art"?

Do you ever get that feeling like you're just a bit TOO different from other people? Like you're just a weird lizard person, pretending to go along your way as a regular human? ...just me?
That's ok :) I'm happy to be the artist behind "Weird Lizard Art"

I have an Etsy too...

My website has everything (and more) that's on my Etsy page...but maybe you're just hearing about me for the first time and Etsy provides a little more shopping security for you. That's ok. I don't take the lack of trust personally. The internet has become a vast abyss of scams/false information, and we never know what's real. But hey, the internet allowed you to get to my website so you can read this weird, rambling message about some random person's Etsy page. So that's a plus...right?
